DRIVE Passes 500,000 Subscribers On YouTube
NEW YORK, Aug. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DRIVE, one of the most popular automotive channels on YouTube, today announced it has surpassed a half million subscribers since its launch. The channel has generated more than 60,000,000 views in the same period.
"Enthusiast channels like DRIVE represent the present shape of online video consumption, a seed that sprouted ten years ago with the development of podcasting, then social video and now multi- channel networks," said Adam Bruce, co-founder of DRIVE. "These numbers are a testament to Emil Rensing International's considerable foresight and vision in preserving and developing this network from the days of VODCars, through Next New Networks, then Autostream and now its best expression to date, DRIVE. I am proud to see what DRIVE has become and I look forward to seeing where the team will take their YouTube Channel in the future."
