Dreamscape Immersive Boosts Leadership Team To Fuel Global Expansion
Adam Rockmore, former SVP, Head of Marketing and Communications at Fandango and Ron McJunkin, previous Head of Global Stores and Operations for Sonos, fill key roles as the location-based immersive entertainment leader gears up to unveil blockbuster content in new retail locations around the globe
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Dreamscape Immersive, the location-based VR startup backed by some of Hollywood's biggest players, today announced that it has appointed Adam Rockmore as SVP, Global Head of Marketing and Communications and Ron McJunkin as SVP, Global Retail Stores and Operations. The addition of these two leaders with deep experience in entertainment, retail and consumer products bolsters the Company's executive roster as it readies to roll out its branded location-based immersive experiences to audiences around the globe.

As Dreamscape's SVP, Global Head of Marketing and Communications, Rockmore will be charged with shaping the Dreamscape brand and developing strategic campaigns that will drive audiences to see, touch, and feel the magic of Dreamscape's virtual worlds. Drawing upon his previous experience helping transform Fandango into the premier movie experience brand, Adam will develop breakthrough consumer marketing initiatives that will introduce this new form of entertainment to the masses. While at Fandango, he led consumer marketing and communications of all of its properties, including: the company's flagship ticketing properties Fandango, MovieTickets.com and Flixster; its review site Rotten Tomatoes; its streaming service, FandangoNOW, and Fandango's FanShop. Prior to joining Fandango, Rockmore held several leadership positions with top entertainment brands, ABC and Food Network.
As the company's SVP, Global Retail Stores and Operations, McJunkin will oversee Dreamscape Immersive's global retail operations and will work alongside Dreamscape's investors and partners including AMC Entertainment Holdings, Majid Al Futtaim (MAF), a major mall and cinema operator in the Middle East, and Westfield/Unibail-Rodamco to develop an international footprint for its location-based entertainment centers. During his time as Head of Global Stores and Operations at Sonos, McJunkin managed and scaled innovative store formats including pop-ups and shop-in-shop concepts that made the brand a cultural phenomenon. Prior to joining Sonos, McJunkin held several leadership roles with top brands such as Nordstrom, Gap, Quicksilver, and PacSun.
The appointment of Rockmore and McJunkin comes directly on the heels of Dreamscape's uber successful Alien Zoo pop-up experience, whose six week run sold out in under 24 hours.
