Draken International's fleet is composed of over 50 tactical aircraft including Douglas A-4K Skyhawk's, Aermacchi MB-339CB's and Mikoyan Mig-21UM and Mig-21BIS fighters. Draken's aircraft are equipped with technologically advanced radar and sensors commonly found in 4th generation fighter jets. This enables Draken to simulate various modern threat scenarios while utilizing economical long endurance aircraft.
Draken International CEO Jared Isaacman states, "Draken is dedicated to building the most capable and supportable fleet of aircraft and we have made some tremendous acquisitions to accomplish this goal. We are excited that the aircraft we acquired have taken to the skies and can now be used to provide commercial air services to benefit the U.S. military and our allies. Our services provide a cost effective solution that can be 75% to 80% less expensive than legacy military fighters, a cost reduction that we estimate can save the US government and taxpayers more than a billion dollars over the next decade. Given the present fiscal environment, we believe the demand for commercial air services will only continue to grow and we are committed to meeting that need. We are pleased to be able to offer such a powerful combination of technologically advanced threat representation in economically efficient platforms for aviation training and support."
