Dr. Tiffany Brown Scholarship Has Launched and Is Accepting Applications

ATLANTA, March 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Tiffany Brown Designs and Tribute Contracting LLC are pleased to announce the Dr. Tiffany Brown Scholarship. The Dr. Tiffany Brown scholarship is designed to encourage and support outstanding students who work hard and have financial need. The scholarships provide financial assistance and academic support to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students. The scholarship has a particular focus on female students with an interest in entrepreneurship.

Sociological theories argue that social structures (workplace, family, and organized social life) affect women's access to entrepreneurial opportunities and may influence performance (Aldrich 1989). The extent to which women entrepreneurs face structural barriers in these areas will arguably have an impact on the performance of their ventures.¹

Society needs innovative people to provide new ways to get society unstuck. Innovative people discover what is not working and solve the problem by changing the system, spreading the solution and persuading entire societies to take new leaps.

Two scholarships will be awarded in 2019. The total value of each scholarship is $500. Applications are available at the link provided below and will be accepted through April 31, 2019 5 pm Eastern Daylight Time. The semifinalists will be announced on June 1, 2019. Scholarship recipients will be announced no later than July 1, 2019.
