Dr. Marcy's true calling lies in helping others and supporting families in breakdown, including those with adopted and biological children diagnosed as ADHD, Bipolar, Oppositional Defiant (ODD), and Reactive Attachment Disordered (RAD). Dr. Marcy is passionate about helping families as a result of her own experiences with the joy, heartbreak, challenge, and utter exhaustion of raising a child suffering from early childhood trauma. She deeply understands the importance of becoming an advocate for children in the home, at school and within the community. In order to expand her knowledge base, Dr. Marcy earned her Ph.D. in Psychology and Zoology with a Specialty in Behavioral Ecology from the University of Washington. She also became a Certified Performance Coach and Certified Experiential Facilitator through Resource Realizations in order to better serve her clients.
