Dr. Susan D. Reynolds, M.D., F.A.C.P. is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Professional

HARTSVILLE, S.C., Oct. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Susan D. Reynolds, M.D., F.A.C.P. is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Medicine.  Dr. Reynolds is a Doctor with the Medical Group of Hartsville, S.C.

Dr. Reynolds specializes in Internal Medicine (non-surgical adult diseases).  As a reflection of her professionalism in the medical field, Dr. Reynolds is a fellow of the American College of Physicians.  She serves as a volunteer at the Free Medical Clinic in Hartsville.  She is the Darlington County  Medical Director for Hospice Care of South Carolina.  As a result of her dedication to both her patients and her community, she was voted "Best Family Physician" in Darlington County, S.C. for 2012. Dr. Reynolds is a member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) chapter in Hartsville.  She serves on the Architectural Review Board of Hartsville, S.C.  In addition, she is a member of the Hartsville Museum Commission Board of Directors and maintains a position as Church Historian at First Baptist Church in Hartsville.

In her spare time, Dr. Reynolds enjoys listening to music, playing the piano, and playing the accordion.  She likes to kayak on Prestwood Lake behind her house in Hartsville.  She loves to spend time with Lila, her 3-year old miniature dachshund.

She is an avid photographer and author.  Her recent publications include My Backyard Along Black Creek, First Baptist Church of Hartsville, S.C., Hinnant Lane, Senior Voices, Prestwood Lake and Black Creek—a pictorial essay, First Baptist Church Scrapbook, and Secrets of a Successful Loser—the problems people have with weight loss and how we've solved them (co-author with Dr. Katherine Gettys).

Dr. Reynolds earned a B.S. degree from Furman University.  She earned an MAT from The Citadel.  She holds both an M.S. degree and an M.D. degree from the Medical University of South Carolina.

Looking ahead, Dr. Reynolds hopes to continue to provide the highest caliber of medical care to her patients through her Internal Medicine practice.
