Dr. Stephen Soloway Named to "Top Doctors" List by U.S. News & World Report
VINELAND N.J., July 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Rheumatologist Dr. Stephen Soloway has been named one of the nation's top doctors by U.S. News & World Report in collaboration with Castle Connolly. The highly renowned list, featuring nearly 30,000 physicians from across the country, is available online at www.usnews.com/top-doctors.
The 22nd annual U.S. News Top Doctors list was created with Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., publisher of America's Top Doctors and other consumer health guides. Drawing from Castle Connolly's database, the list includes doctors recommended for their clinical skills by other doctors and individually vetted by a physician-led research team.
The Top Doctors list was compiled after soliciting nominations for physicians in academic medical centers, specialty hospitals, regional hospitals, and physicians in private practice. Nominee's training, achievements, appointments and other credentials were thoroughly reviewed by a team of experts.
"This is a tremendous honor and is especially gratifying to be recognized by such reputable organizations," said Soloway. "Continued recognition as a leader in the field is a testament to the dedication of my entire staff and to our shared commitment to providing patients with the individualized treatments to provide the best possible outcomes."
Soloway treats more than 15,000 patients annually at his Vineland, NJ practice, and has previously been recognized as a top rheumatologist by Philadelphia Magazine and Inside New Jersey Magazine. Soloway provides arthritis and osteoporosis treatment, as well as sports and occupational medicine, for which he runs osteoporosis, knee and back pain clinics. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and has specialized certificates in Osteoporosis.
Originally from Queens, Soloway left New York City after completing undergraduate studies at SUNY at Stony Brook to pursue his lifelong dream to be a physician.
