Dr. Sanjay Jha, Motorola Co-CEO to Address The Executives' Club of Chicago on Convergence
CHICAGO, June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Sanjay Jha, Co-CEO, Motorola, & CEO of Motorola's Mobile Devices & Home Business, will speak on "Convergence: Living in a Personal, Mobile Connected Society" before members and guests of The Executives' Club of Chicago at its June 9th Global Leaders Luncheon.
His talk will cover the relationship between consumers, devices and the world around them that is evolving rapidly due to the convergence of wireless, media, the internet and computing. As this melding of technology and industry plays out, the potential exists to change many of the assumptions by which we live and exactly what is "personal" about our personal devices.
Since becoming Co-CEO in 2008, Jha has been focused on reclaiming Motorola's position in the mobile device market and with the debut of its new family of smartphones based on the Android™ software platform and Motorola's own software service MOTOBLUR™.
The program will be held at The Hyatt Regency, Regency Ballroom B-D, Gold Level.
A networking reception will take place at 11:45 a.m., with the luncheon at 12:30 p.m. The cost to attend is $57.50 for Executives' Club members; $78.50 for non-members.
The program will be preceded by the Club's Technology Conference, "Championing the Pervasive Risks of the Business Climate."
