Dr. Sandra Davidson Named Dean of Nursing for Carrington College®
PHOENIX, Nov. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Carrington College® has announced the appointment of Sandra Davidson, Ph.D., MSN, RN as dean of nursing. Prior to joining Carrington College, Dr. Davidson served as senior manager of faculty development for Chamberlain College of Nursing. Both colleges are a part of DeVry Inc., a global provider of career services.

At Chamberlain College of Nursing, Dr. Davidson was responsible for fostering a student centered approach to teaching and learning within the organization and supporting new nurse educators in the transition from clinical nursing to teaching. In addition, she has served as the organizational development and clinical education specialist for Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) and director for the Master of Healthcare Innovation Program at Arizona State University College of Nursing & Health Innovation.

Dr. Davidson holds a doctorate in leadership studies and master's degree in nursing education from Gonzaga University as well as a bachelor's degree in nursing management from the University of Lethbridge.
In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing nursing programs, accreditation and faculty at all of the college's campuses and report to Dr. Rozhon.
