Dr. Ron Black, Rambus CEO, Joins Microfabrica Board Of Directors
SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Microfabrica, a leader in advanced additive manufacturing, announced today the appointment of Dr. Ron Black to its board of directors. Dr. Black has a long history of executive leadership in global semiconductor and mobile markets. He currently serves as president and chief executive officer of Rambus Inc.

Dr. Black joined Rambus in mid-2012 as president and CEO. Prior to Rambus, Ron was the chief executive officer for MobiWire (formerly Sagem Wireless, UPEK, which later merged with AuthenTec) and Wavecom, a publicly traded French wireless solutions company. Ron has also served as executive vice president of the Client Systems Group at Agere Systems and has held a number of senior executive roles at other companies, including Motorola and IBM Microelectronics. Ron holds a bachelor's degree, a master's and a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from Cornell University.
