Dr. Gervais presently specializes in Diagnostic Radiology through his role as Chief of Radiology for Sept-Iles Regional Hospital as well as through his private practice in Quebec. Radiologists direct an array of imaging technologies such as ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to diagnose or treat disease. This field of medicine encompasses the study and application of imaging technology like x-ray and radiation techniques.

Working as an extension of the St. Iles Regional Hospital, Dr. Gervais and his medical team provide quality radiological services to the region through the use of modern imaging equipment. As a result of his knowledge of diagnostic technology, Dr. Gervais is able to attain accurate pictures of the inside of his patients' bodies to check for disease.

Dr. Gervais is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology, and received his Medical Degree from the University of Montreal in 1992. He continued on at this institution to complete both his internship and residency.  He currently maintains affiliation with the American Roentgen Ray Society, and the Canadian Association of Radiologists.

Despite his busy work schedule in both a hospital and private practice setting, Dr. Gervais continues to find time to devote to reading history, playing piano, and camping with his family.
