She also belongs to the Kansas and Missouri American College of Emergency Physicians, American College of Emergency Physicians, International Association of Forensic Nurses, Missouri Association of Forensic Nurses, Mo-Save Board, Kansas City Coalition Against Human Trafficking, as well as KCIRSA (Kansas City Interdisciplinary Response to Sexual Assault) and National Association of Professional Women.
Dr. Hierholzer earned both her BA and MD in Medicine from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and also holds a Masters of Business Administration in Healthcare from the American Intercontinental University. She is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and a Clinical Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine through the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Medicine.
