Reader votes made up 50 percent of the final outcome; Modern Healthcare's senior editors' votes made up the other 50 percent. According to Modern Healthcare, enduring influence is the central theme this year and the list recognized "the most influential individuals in the industry, in terms of leadership and impact."
Dr. Reddy is a visionary and generous leader, donating millions toward charities that provide educational scholarships and free healthcare.
