DR PLANT Participated in the Launch of the World's First Botany Award - Mr. Wu Zhengyi's Botany Prize
KUNMING, China, July 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- On July 12th, a celebration for Mr. Wu Zhengyi's Centenary Birthday was held in Kunming Botanical Garden, organized by the Chinese Academy of Science Kunming Botany Institute affiliated with Yunnan Science & Technology Association. In order to promote his dedication, rigorous scholarship, and persistent scientific spirit. Wu Zhenyi Botany Prize was formally established with DR PLANT skincare brand.
Wu Zhengyi is the Academician of China Academy of Sciences winner of 2007 China Supreme Science and Technology Award and a well-known botanist. He was dedicated to plant science research for more than 70 years, participating in the compilation of "Flora of China" and its revision of the English version, making an outstanding contribution for the development of the botany of China.
The Wu Zhengyi Botany Award is to reward outstanding achievements and important innovations for Botany science and technology workers who have made great efforts in Botany research, plant resource, rational development and utilization, plant diversity conservation and sustainable development of ecosystems. The first award results will be announced at 2017 International Botanical conference.
