Dr. Peter Diamandis Joins Tribogenics Advisory Board
MARINA DEL REY, Calif., Dec. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Tribogenics, a producer of innovative X-ray sources, announced today that Dr. Peter Diamandis, Chairman and CEO of the X PRIZE Foundation (www.xprize.org), has joined its Advisory Board. Best known for the $10 million Ansari X PRIZE for private spaceflight, the X PRIZE Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on designing and launching global incentive prizes to drive radical breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity. Diamandis is also the New York Times Bestselling author of Abundance – The Future Is Better Than You Think.

Tribogenics recently announced a $6.2 million Series A financing round led by Founders Fund that allows the company to expedite time to market by hiring additional engineers and scientists and to expand the size of its internal R&D facility.
