Dr Pepper Kicks Off College Football Campaign with the Return of Larry Culpepper and the Tailgate 2000
Beloved Concessionaire, Larry Culpepper, Enlists Team of Vendors to Help Fulfill Fan Cravings for Dr Pepper at College Football Events across the Country
PLANO, Texas, Aug. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- College football is back! And so is Larry Culpepper. But this year…he's not alone.
The craving for Dr Pepper is at an all-time high, so fearless vendor, Larry Culpepper, has assembled a vendor dream-team to join him on his mission to deliver Dr Pepper at stadiums, homegates and tailgates throughout the 2017-2018 college football season.
Members of Larry's team will be unveiled throughout the multi-platform brand campaign, including a band member, a cheerleader, a mascot, and some high-profile recruits, the first being football legend Doug Flutie, who makes his debut in the first of seven new college football-themed TV spots for the season, titled, "Larry Nation."

Larry will hit the road again this season in his souped-up RV, the Tailgate 2000, to satisfy cravings by hosting tailgates at games across the country, making the following stops:
- Arlington, Texas on September 2nd, 2017 for the AdvoCare Classic
- Atlanta, Georgia on December 1st and 2nd, 2017 for the SEC Championship Game
- New Orleans, Louisiana on January 1st, 2018 for the Allstate Sugar Bowl
- Atlanta, Georgia on January 8th, 2018 for the National Championship Game
