Dr. Michael Greenwood Accepts Clinical Instructor of Surgery Position

FARGO, N.D., Dec. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Vance Thompson Vision, a refractive surgery and research facility specializing in laser vision correction, is proud to announce that Michael Greenwood, MD has accepted the position of Clinical Instructor of Surgery at the University of North Dakota's School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Greenwood joined our practice in 2016 as a corneal and refractive surgeon, specializing in laser vision correction.

Dr. Greenwood was born and raised in Jamestown, ND. He attended the University of North Dakota where he was also an ESPN 1st Team Academic All-American while participating on the football team. He then attended the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences to receive his Doctor of Medicine. He did his ophthalmology training at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH where he was Administrative Chief Resident. He is also the Associate Medical Director for Dakota Sight.

Dr. Greenwood will continue to focus his work on advanced vision correction procedures to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia.
