Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE and HRH Princess Alia join IFAW honorary board
YARMOUTH PORT, Mass., Oct. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) www.ifaw.org is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE and HRH Princess Alia of Jordan to its Honorary Board of Directors.
Dr. Goodall is Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and a UN Messenger of Peace. She frequently collaborates with IFAW, most recently joining to support the proposed U.S. ivory regulations.

HRH Princess Alia Al Hussein of Jordan, the daughter of the late King Hussein of Jordan and Sharifa Dina bint 'Abdu'l-Hamid, is the founder of the Princess Alia Foundation, a non-governmental organization that "works to promote the balance, harmony and respect for all creation."

Princess Alia has partnered with IFAW to bring our Animal Action Education program to children throughout Jordan and to rescue wildlife from illegal trade.
