Dr. Helen Campbell Rejoins LaserShip Team as Chief Operating Officer
Former CTO to Run Company Operations and IT Functions
VIENNA, Va., Aug. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- LaserShip is proud to announce that Dr. Helen Campbell has rejoined the company as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Campbell originally joined LaserShip in 2000 as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and was responsible for implementing the technology strategy for the company's dot com business venture. As COO, Campbell will oversee Delivery Operations, Line Haul and Facility Operations, and IT functionality as well as assuming responsibility for the overall performance, growth and profit of LaserShip Operations.

Prior to rejoining LaserShip, Campbell worked for Nokia Location & Commerce (HERE) in Berlin, Germany as Senior Program Manager of Map Services Platform. There, she was responsible for the management of map platform programs with strategic platform partners and customers such as Microsoft and Yahoo and worked in close collaboration with R&D, Business Development and System Engineering.
Dr. Campbell held several executive leadership roles in the software and technology fields before originally joining LaserShip in 2000. As CEO of iChromatiq, she helped build a business consulting group focused on information management and data analysis in areas such as distribution & logistics, legal & regulatory and healthcare & pharmaceuticals. In 1999, Campbell co-founded SilverPlum, an online retailer that specialized in upscale, decorative accessories and gifts. Before her SilverPlum startup, Campbell was VP of Software Products at EarthWeb, Inc. and CTO & VP of Emerging Technologies at the Thomson Corporation.
