Dr. Gilbert Webb of Midwest Maternal-Fetal Medicine Receives National Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring
ST. LOUIS, Feb. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Certification Corporation (NCC) announced that Dr. Gilbert Webb has received national certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM). EFM examines the condition of the baby by looking at heart rate in the womb. This certification is awarded after meeting rigorous educational and practice requirements, and passing an examination in the specified area.
Less than 150,000 health care professionals have earned this prestigious credential since 1975. Every three years, certified professionals are required to take a continuing competency assessment and take part in continuing education.
