An esteemed physician, instructor and researcher, Dr. Lange began his healthcare career in 1962 and has been working for SUNY Downstate for over thirty years. He is currently the Director of Radiation Research, Associate Director of Residency Program.
Presently, his main area of focus lies in patented hybrid spheroid assay measuring sensitivity of cancer treatments with further expertise in assay development, cell biology, cancer research, radiation therapy, molecular biology, stem cells and much more.

Dr. Lange graduated from the University of Oxford with his D.Phil., Fac. Med. (Radiation Biophysics) following receipt of his S.B. degree in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
