Dr. Christian Kollar Elected 2012-2013 President of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association
BLOOMINGTON, Minn., June 13, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Minnesota Chiropractic Association (MCA) elected Dr. Christian Kollar, of New Brighton as president of the MCA.
Dr. Kollar took office on June 1, 2012 and says "during his presidency he plans to work on expanding chiropractic services, updating the chiropractic scope of practice and impacting positive change in the economic payment structure of chiropractors and the patients they serve."
During his tenure with the association, he has played an active role by serving as a board member, board liaison to the legislative committee and an active member of the MCA insurance committee.
Originally from Shoreview, Dr. Kollar received his Doctorate of Chiropractic and graduated Cum Laude from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Kollar currently resides in St. Paul with his wife Nicole and their two daughters and practices with his father at New Brighton Chiropractic Clinic. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and pheasant hunting.
Other MCA officers include: First Vice-President, Dr. Scott Mooring, 2nd Vice President, Dr. Doug Broman, Secretary, Dr. Richard C. Hueffmeier, Treasurer, Dr. Lisa Hellerud, and the Immediate Past-President, Dr. Jennifer Naas. Elected officers serve as members of the MCA Board of Directors, which is the final policy-making and governing body for the MCA.
