Dr. Ben Carson Wins Washington State Fair Straw Poll

MERRIFIELD, Va., Sept. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The 2016 Committee, a political action committee raising awareness and support for Dr. Ben Carson's campaign for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, congratulates Dr. Carson for winning the Republican presidential straw poll at the Washington State Fair on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015.

Dr. Carson finished the Washington State Fair GOP straw poll in first place with 38.5 percent of the votes, earning nearly twice the support of the second-place finisher. The poll was conducted by the Pierce County Republican Party. Carson also won statewide straw polls conducted by the Washington State Republican Party in 2014 and 2015.
