Doxo Provides Customer Convenience and Expanded Mobile Bill Payment Options for National Grid
Now more than 4 million National Grid electricity and gas customers can connect on doxo to receive bills, make payments, and expand mobile engagement
SEATTLE, Sept. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Doxo today announced that National Grid has made available to its customers the doxo application to enhance the company's customer engagement and experience by offering a paperless account and billing option. Through doxo, National Grid's electricity and gas customers, across New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, can now receive their bills and other account documents, organize account information, and make payments directly from their free doxo account.
"Our goal is to continually improve customer satisfaction and convenience, and to reduce our carbon footprint," said Susan Mais, National Grid vice president of Customer Care. "At National Grid we continue to look for ways to help our customers connect with us online and on their mobile devices. Doxo is a simple and seamless channel for our customers to stay on top of bills and payments. Furthermore, doxo enhances National Grid's self-service strategy, provides easy mobile payments, and even enables auto-pay with customer specified limits. This expands the paperless and mobile bill pay options available to our customers, increases paperless adoption, and saves trees. It's a win for everyone."
National Grid residential and commercial customers can connect on doxo by visiting http://www.doxo.com/nationalgrid or by downloading the iPhone or Android doxo app.
Each time a customer connects to National Grid through doxo, their bills and account documents are automatically delivered directly to their free, safe and secure doxo digital file cabinet, which can be accessed online or via the doxo mobile apps for iPhone or Android. National Grid bills and other account documents can be printed or downloaded anytime, and easily backed up to the customer's own hard drive or cloud storage services like Dropbox, Google Drive and Box. Further, with doxoPAY, customers can quickly pay their National Grid bill, or set up auto-pay with user-specified limits.
"We're very pleased to have National Grid on the doxo network," said Steve Shivers, co-founder and CEO at doxo. "Tens of thousands of National Grid customers are already using doxo online and mobile apps and ready to connect, so the impact is immediate for boosting paperless adoption, convenience and operational efficiency. We're very excited to see their growth on doxo in the coming weeks and months."
