Downtown Pulaski's CNB Center to sell in Jan. 31 auction
PULASKI, Va., Dec. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The downtown Pulaski building that currently serves as home to the Pulaski County School Board will sell at auction Friday, Jan. 31, with Woltz & Associates managing the sale.
The 19,000-square-foot CNB Center at the corner of Main Street & Washington Avenue will sell to the highest bidder over a published minimum bid of $280,000, according to Jim Woltz, president of the auction company.
"This is a well known landmark and a prime location there in the downtown area. The Pulaski County School Board plans to move to its new home in the County Administration Building, and the building needs to be sold. I think that will be good news to businesses in the area who wish to move downtown, or perhaps to businesses nearby who wish to upgrade or own their own real estate," said Woltz.
"The first floor has 7,350 square feet of office space with an open floor plan, a drive-thru window, two vaults and three restrooms. The second and third floors each have 6,024 square feet," said Woltz.
All floors are accessible by elevator, and the building is equipped with six heat pumps and wiring for high-speed Internet. It offers off-street parking with approximately 24 spaces.
Woltz personnel will be available to guide inspections of the building from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Jan. 17 and Friday, Jan. 24. The auction will begin at the premises at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31. Individuals interested in additional information may visit woltz.com or call 800-551-3588.
