Dowitcher Designs Wins Gold Addy Award From the American Advertising Federation, Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., April 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Dowitcher Designs, a Santa Barbara-based creative web and print communications agency, wins a Gold Addy Award for poster design. The top award given by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) in the Central Coast competition sends the winning poster design to the district-wide competition.

The winning poster design, created by Lead Creative Lyn Peyok in conjunction with CEO Amber Wallace, advertised Harvey Milk Day, an annual event held at Leadbetter beach in Santa Barbara. The AAF award ceremony was held at the Center Stage Theatre in Santa Barbara, where attendees could view all entries in a multitude of categories spanning web, print, radio and television. Awards were presented at the end of the evening.

This was the first submission by Dowitcher Designs into the yearly Addy Awards contest. The company has been in Santa Barbara for nearly six years and has largely focused on client work and local non-profit sponsorship. "To be recognized with our first entry at this level is really exciting for us," says Amber Wallace, President & CEO of Dowitcher Designs.
