Dover Street Market selects B&O PLAY as first audio company to be featured in its New York City showroom

COPENHAGEN, Denmark and NEW YORK, June 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen – the Danish provider of vibrant, stand-alone mobile consumer electronics products – has been selected by Dover Street Market New York to be the first technology company showcased in the Store. The partnership is significant as it represents a marriage of technology and high-end fashion and is the first time Dover Street Market has entered into the consumer electronics sector. B&O PLAY will incorporate a unique installation concept based on an experiential workshop featuring craftsmanship, high quality materials, innovation and sensory applications.

The B&O PLAY installation will begin on Wednesday June 10th, and will be on display until July 8th 2015. The B&O PLAY workshop at Dover Street Market New York will provide an immersive, sensory experience and will depict Scandinavian heritage and high quality craftsmanship at its best. It will highlight acoustic sound engineering and industrial design processes.
