Dover Corporation Increases Dividend By 14.5%
56th Consecutive Annual Dividend Increase
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., Aug. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV) today increased its quarterly cash dividend to $0.315 (thirty-one and one half cents) per share, from the previous $0.275 (twenty-seven and one half cents) per share, an increase of 14.5%. The increased dividend will be paid on September 15, 2011 to shareholders of record as of August 31, 2011.
Dover noted that this is the 56th consecutive year in which the Company has paid an increased cash dividend, giving it the fourth longest record of consecutive annual dividend increases of all listed companies, as reported by Mergent's Dividend Achievers.
