Douglas Toering, Esq., Joins Mantese Honigman, PC As A Litigation Partner In Troy, Michigan

TROY, Mich., Jan. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Mantese Honigman, PC, with offices in Troy, Michigan and St. Louis, Missouri, is pleased to announce that Douglas L. Toering has joined the firm as a partner.  Mr. Toering will continue his practice in shareholder disputes, complex business litigation, insurance litigation, and alternative dispute resolution.  He chairs the State Bar of Michigan's Business Law Section, where he also chairs the Commercial Litigation Committee and the Business Courts Committee.  Mr. Toering was previously in-house counsel for General Motors Corporation; he then practiced as a partner at a national litigation firm and later at his own firm.  He has represented Fortune 500 companies in commercial litigation as well as small businesses in litigation and transactional matters.  Mr. Toering authors the chapter on Michigan's Business Courts for the ABA's Annual Review of Recent Developments in Business and Corporate Litigation.  He and Gerard Mantese presented on shareholder litigation to approximately 25 business court judges at a program sponsored by the Michigan Judicial Institute and the National Judicial College.  Mr. Toering brings with him decades of diverse business litigation experience and a special dedication to the legal profession, as Mantese Honigman continues to distinguish itself as a premiere business litigation firm throughout the country.
