Douglas Emmett Obtains $300 Million Revolving Line Of Credit
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Dec. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Douglas Emmett, Inc. (NYSE:DEI), a real estate investment trust (REIT), today announced that it closed a $300 million secured revolving line of credit. The credit facility has a four year term, bears interest at LIBOR plus 140 basis points and carries a 20 basis point unused commitment fee (reduced to 15 basis points if more than $100 million has been drawn). Douglas Emmett used a portion of its cash on hand, plus $40 million from this credit line, to prepay the remaining $150 million balance of its loan scheduled to mature on April 1, 2015.
