LOS ANGELES, Dec. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Douglas Elliman Development Marketing announced today that it has been selected to exclusively handle sales and marketing for the second phase of Metropolis Los Angeles, the $1 billion-dollar mixed-use project under development in Downtown Los Angeles. Slated to be the largest mixed-use site on the West Coast, the second phase of the high-profile development will house over 500 condominium residences.
Announced in the wake of a competitive bidding process, developer Greenland US Holding Inc., a subsidiary of Greenland Group, China's largest diversified company, will continue its successful relationship with Douglas Elliman Development Marketing.

A 6.33-acre mixed-use destination, The Metropolis Los Angeles is being developed in stages. Construction on Phase I, a high-rise hotel and condominium tower, is slated for completion in the fall of 2016. Phase II broke ground earlier this month and will be delivered approximately one year later from Phase I. Plans for the third and final phase will be announced at a later date.
