Douglas Elliman And NYU Schack Announce Fall 2013 Scholarship Recipients
NEW YORK, June 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Douglas Elliman Real Estate and the New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate, a division of the NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies (NYU-SCPS), are pleased to announce the Douglas Elliman Scholarship Master's Candidates Recipients for Fall 2013: James Carroll and Ali Haidar. The Douglas Elliman Scholars were chosen through a rigorous selection process and will each receive funds toward tuition for the degree in which they are enrolled within the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate.
Established by Douglas Elliman in 2012, the Douglas Elliman Scholarship is the first program of its kind funded by a residential real estate firm for NYU Schack. Douglas Elliman will be donating a total of $100,000 over five years to support qualified students who seek the highest standard of education in either NYU Schack's M.S. in Real Estate or the M.S. in Real Estate Development.

Mr. Carroll and Mr. Haidar are top achievers at NYU Schack and are both working toward a Master of Science in Real Estate with a concentration in Finance and Investment. Both students maintain A averages and are expected to graduate in Fall 2013.
