He has also worked with numerous successful startups including BigFix (acquired by IBM), Coremetics (acquired by IBM), Glumobile (IPO), Pandora (IPO planned), Panopticon (acquired by Broadbase),TIVO (IPO).
Barry is currently Managing Director at Selby Venture Partners, a $140 million fund, focused on digital media, internet, and mobile investments. Through Artist Capital Group (ACG), Doug provides venture style finance to indie artists, songwriters, and publishers. Additionally he's a passionate supporter and advisor to Grameen Foundation, a leading microfinance organization who's founder, Professor Muhammad Yunus, won the Nobel Peace Prize this past year.
