DotLoop to Expand Operations After Ohio Tax Credit Authority Awards Incentive
Local company showcases technology at this year's Ohio Association of REALTORS® Convention and Trade Expo in Columbus
CINCINNATI, Sept. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- DotLoop, the interactive workspace for real estate transactions, is growing with help from their home state of Ohio. After successfully implementing its solution throughout the United States and Canada, DotLoop earned a tax incentive from the state of Ohio in August to continue their operation's growth in Cincinnati.
Since its initial launch, DotLoop has built its user base and secured affiliate partnerships with national franchises, associations and MLS subscribers as a solution to streamline the home buying and selling process. The Ohio Tax Credit Authority recognized DotLoop's growth by awarding them a 45 percent tax incentive to continue expanding its operation in Cincinnati. The expansion will create new jobs on the local, regional and national level.
DotLoop looks to provide their service to new brokerages, allowing Ohio brokers to power their agents with an industry-leading solution, owned and operated by residents of their home state.
DotLoop currently has partnerships with the Columbus Board of REALTORS®, the Cincinnati Area Board of REALTORS® and thousands of Ohio agents and brokers. These relationships earned DotLoop notable distinction from industry peers and local business publications.
"Ohio brokers and agents were some of the first users on our system when we started," said Austin Allison, CEO of DotLoop. "They shared our vision early on, and it paid off. We've received prestigious awards from respected publications and accolades from industry professionals, validating our cause and strengthening our mission to deliver life-changing value to real estate agents and the home buyers and sellers they serve. We're very fortunate to operate in Ohio where we have the support of those who recognize innovation."
DotLoop has been featured in several Ohio publications and recently won the Innovation Award for "Outstanding Information Technology Innovation," presented by the Cincinnati Regional Chamber and Business Courier. Allison was added to the Business Courier's "Forty under 40" class of 2011 and named one of "Ohio's Most Talented Entrepreneurs" by Columbus CEO Magazine.
DotLoop will be exhibiting at this year's Ohio Association of REALTORS® Convention and Trade Expo in Columbus from September 11th thru 12th, where Ohio real estate brokers and agents can see demonstrations of the technology.
