Dot Pharmacy Registry Now Accepting Registrations From Dispensing Pharmacies

BOSTON, April 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- EnCirca, Registrar for the Dot Pharmacy Registry is now processing .Pharmacy domain registrations from Dispensing Pharmacies who have been verified by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).  The Limited Registration phase for Dispensing Pharmacies runs until June 2.

The Dispensing Pharmacy limited registration period is the last limited application phase before General Availability for .Pharmacy domain names begins in June. Applications from dispensing pharmacies will be accepted through April 30, and approved pharmacies may begin to register their requested .pharmacy domains at EnCirca as soon as they are approved at http://www.encirca.com/register-domain-names/pharmacy.shtml

General availability (GA) for online pharmacies on a first-come, first-served basis will then begin on June 3, 2015.  This GA phase is for any member of the pharmacy community, as outlined in the Eligibility Requirements.

Dispensing pharmacies need to first become authenticated by the NABP.  They then can register their domain name at EnCirca at http://goo.gl/cjSrd7

In addition, there is still time to register before the start of General Availability for those who have already been issued verification tokens for .Pharmacy by the NABP, including Boards of Pharmacy, Internet Pharmacy Practice Sites^® (VIPPS^®), Veterinary-Verified Internet Pharmacy Practice Sites^® (Vet-VIPPS^®) accredited and NABP e-Advertiser approved entities.
