Dot Hill and transtec Announce OEM Agreement

MUNICH, May 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dot Hill Systems Corp. (Nasdaq: HILL), a provider of world-class storage solutions and software for OEMs, open storage partners and system integrators, today announced a new OEM agreement with transtec AG, a Germany-based IT solutions provider specializing in virtualization, high performance computing (HPC) and IT infrastructures.

transtec's key areas of expertise lie in the evaluation, development and implementation of customized products and concepts. transtec's IT solutions are designed using the "engineered-to-order" principle and customized to individual requirements. With more than 30 years of experience, transtec operates subsidiaries in Belgium, France, the UK, Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland.

Under the terms of the agreement, transtec will use Dot Hill storage solutions to enhance its customized infrastructure offerings with more flexibility and robustness for small-and-medium-sized enterprises. Together the two companies want to take advantage of the European midrange market demand for affordable, turnkey data protection solutions that meet increasingly stringent demands in terms of reliability, performance and scalability.
