Safety 1st
Safety 1st brand products, celebrates the anniversary of the iconic Baby on Board sign, the little yellow sign that 30 years ago sparked a child safety movement. The easily recognizable diamond-shaped emblem has proudly hung in the rear windows of millions of cars, uniting families everywhere on the journey of parenthood. What began as a single Safety 1st product has grown into a full product line supporting a new generation of parents by offering more than thousands of items including car seats, strollers, and baby-proofing equipment.
To celebrate this momentous milestone and staying true to our leadership in child safety, starting early next year, Safety 1st will be including 1 million "Look Before You Lock" window clings packaged with Baby on Board signs as part of its continued support of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) campaign to prevent accidental heat stroke incidents of children left unattended in cars. When combined, these two little signs become a simple, smart solution with a big impact—giving parents peace of mind that children are safe, no matter where the road takes them.
Cosco Kids
Cosco announces the launch of the Scenera NEXT. An inventive solution for families with multiple children, or the captain of the carpool, the budget-friendly Scenera NEXT utilizes convenient features including washable fabrics and an upfront adjustable harness to help master everyday life challenges, such as spills and fussy passengers. The easy to use and easy to clean seat allows parents to spend less time taking care of it, and more time with their children on the road for adventures.
Maxi-Cosi
Maxi-Cosi unveils the new Pria 85 convertible car seat, a JPMA Awards finalist at this year's show. The Pria 85 is the only convertible seat currently available that accommodates children up to 85 pounds, passing NHTSA testing requirements introduced earlier this year. As most manufacturers found themselves dropping their weight limits to 65 lbs. or below in light of the new standards, the Pria 85 was designed to surpass these standards, providing exceptional safety to a much higher weight limit.
Maxi-Cosi now also offers parents the chance to customize their child's car seat combining style and safety for the new Mico Max 30. In an industry first, consumers can now choose a variety of color combinations for the new car seat from the base color to the main seat pad and canopy. The Mico Max 30 also has a self-wicking fabric that deodorizes and draws liquids away from the skin to keep babies from four through thirty pounds dry and comfortable. Other features include removable fabric for easy cleaning and drying, Air Protect Technology, an extra-large sun canopy and an adjustable rebound bar among other unique features.
Quinny
For the stylish and adventurous parent, the new Quinny® Buzz™ Xtra takes your favorite stroller to the next level. Designed for total ease of use, the Buzz Xtra features a new easy fold system that unfolds automatically through use of a unique hydraulic system. The new never-flat, all terrain tires easily conquer rugged terrain providing you and your baby a smooth ride and ultimate comfort, and a new quiet action canopy provides even better protection from the sun. Tailored and durable materials on the updated basket provide the perfect space for your weekend gear. The rugged Buzz Xtra stroller lets you experience life your way. Or as Quinny likes to say, to Walk Your Way.
Tiny Love
In early 2014, Tiny Love joined the Dorel Juvenile's portfolio of premium brands. The brand is best known for its line of high quality, innovative baby gear and toys, including its flagship Gymini® line of activity mats, popular 3-in-1 Rocker Napper and award-winning crib mobile collection.
Only Tiny Love's new Peek-A-Boo Mobile features a dual-motion system that offers a more engaging display for baby. As with traditional mobiles, friendly animal characters suspended from a colorful fan-like fronds rotate above baby. But, for the first time in a mobile, the fronds gently rotate around the characters to create a magical peek-a-boo show that will captivate infants. The Peek-A-Boo Mobile also features a stylish music box with soft, glowing nightlight that plays 30 minutes of continuous music across 15 melodies. The mobile arm detaches from the music box, which has "piano keys" for added playability for older babies. And, the music box can also be used as a floor toy, extending play value well into the toddler years.
