DoorDash Arrives In The Richmond Area, Offers Delivery From More Than 600 Local Restaurants

SAN FRANCISCO, March 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- DoorDash, the technology company connecting customers with the best local restaurants through door-to-door delivery, today announced its launch in the Richmond area, delivering from more than 600 local restaurants. DoorDash currently operates in more than 600 cities across the country, and Richmond marks its 57th major metropolitan market, and the 2nd major city in Virginia.

Starting today, DoorDash will be available across Church Hill, Shockoe Bottom, VCU, Fan District, Cary Town, Scott's Addition, East Highland Park, Near West End, Tuckahoe, University of Richmond, Three Chopt, Dumbarton, Barrington, Kingsley, Innsbrook, and Henrico.

Customers in these areas can order DoorDash between the hours of 11 am and 10 pm from a selection of local favorites, including:

DoorDash's national partnerships with PF Chang's, Wendy's, Taco Bell, California Pizza Kitchen, KFC, and Panda Express will also extend to the area.

Plus, new DoorDash customers can enjoy $5 off an order of $15 or more with promo code RVA5OFF, valid through the end of March. Delivery fees at launch will range from $1.99 to $3.99.
