DoorDash Arrives In The Portland Area, Offers Delivery From More Than 320 Local Restaurants

DoorDash is now available for delivery in 45 states across the U.S.

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- DoorDash, the on-demand destination connecting customers with their favorite restaurants through door-to-door delivery, today announced its launch into Maine across ten cities in the Portland area, delivering from more than 320 local restaurants. With DoorDash's arrival in Maine, the platform now operates in 45 states and in more than 1,200 cities across the country.

Starting today, DoorDash will be available in the following ten cities in Cumberland County:

Biddeford
Cape Elizabeth
Gorham
Higgins Beach
Old Orchard Beach
Portland
Saco
Scarborough
South Portland
Westbrook

Customers in the area can order DoorDash between the hours of 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. from fan-favorite restaurants including Applebee's.

To celebrate the debut of DoorDash in Portland, deliveries for the next month will be discounted to $1 delivery fees for all orders over $15. New users can also use the code MAINEDASH for $5 off their first order of $15 or more, valid through December 1, 2018.
