Donation to "Mercy for Me" by Capital Gold Group Provides Holiday Meals for Military Families

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- In the spirit of holiday giving, Capital Gold Group, Inc. has announced that a corporate donation has been made to help provide meals to military families in need this holiday season through a donation to "Mercy for Me," one of the fastest growing charitable organizations in the country, in partnership with GlobalGiving. 

Funds contributed to "Mercy for Me" through GlobalGiving by Capital Gold Group, Inc. and others will supply turkeys, hams, and other grocery items to military soldiers and their families, helping to keep their spirits high throughout this holiday season.

While thousands of military personnel continue serving overseas in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other countries, many of their families are fighting a different kind of war back home — hunger.  Financial hardship is a grim reality for the wives and children of those serving in our armed forces overseas, and the goal of " Mercy for Me" is to raise $10,000 to provide 500 military families with the resources needed to keep food on their tables during the holidays.
