Donald G. Cofrancesco Recognized for Commitment to Health Care Administration

HAMDEN, Conn., July 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Donald G. Cofrancesco is a distinguished biographee of Marquis Who's Who. In this position, he is widely regarded for his analytical skills, as well as his knowledge in the fields of health care administration and health sciences. In addition to serving All Around Town Home Care, Inc., Mr. Cofrancesco is also recognized for his community service and volunteer work. During school breaks as an undergraduate, he was a respiratory therapy technician and a member of the Cardiac Arrest and Trauma Team at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven. Mr. Cofrancesco served as a board member of the Partnerships Center for Adult Day Care in Hamden. During his tenure with Partnerships, he also served as president, treasurer, and secretary. For more than a decade, Mr. Cofrancesco was treasurer of the Connecticut Lifespan Respite Coalition, Inc. Serving his community, he was a member, chair, and vice chair of the Human Services Commission for the Town of Hamden. He was also a board member of the Quinnipiack Valley Health District. An amateur radio enthusiast, Mr. Cofrancesco is a Life Member of the American Radio Relay League; a founding member of the reorganized Yale Amateur Radio Club; a former member and public information officer of the Connecticut Amateur Radio Service; formerly the ARES emergency coordinator for QVHD; and a certified weather spotter for the National Weather Service Skywarn Program. Mr. Cofrancesco also served as a volunteer firefighter for the Mount Carmel Volunteer Fire Company of the Town of Hamden for ten years.
Prior to pursuing a career in health care administration, Mr. Cofrancesco received a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and life sciences with distinction from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1975. He went on to complete a Master of Arts degree in Gerontology through the University of New Haven in 1979 and a Master of Public Health degree through Yale University in 1992. Early in his career, Mr. Cofrancesco served as a research assistant with the Yale School of Medicine. He was also the director of biostatistics and health planning with the Department of Health for the City of New Haven in 1980. Since then, Mr. Cofrancesco has held administrative roles with a wide range of institutions, including Golden Manor Convalescent Home, West Haven Nursing Center, Independence Manor, and Hillside Manor. In addition, he briefly served as a consultant with Hospice: Project Care.
From 1990 to 2001, Mr. Cofrancesco worked at the Yale School of Medicine in a variety of roles, including as a lecturer, assistant administrator, and financial analyst. He served as a health care consultant with Coe Enterprises, LLC for more than a decade before creating All Around Town Home Care, Inc., in 2013.
In recognition of his contributions to health care, Mr. Cofrancesco has been featured in a wide range of honors publications. Most recently, he was selected for inclusion in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in Medicine and Health Care, and Who's Who in Science and Engineering. Mr. Cofrancesco was previously listed among the Most Outstanding Young Men of America in 1983.
