Don Johnson Joins MSX International Advisory Board
DETROIT, Feb. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- MSX International (MSXI), a leading global business process outsourcing company, announced that Donald "Don" Johnson has joined its advisory board.
As a board member, Johnson will provide guidance and draw upon his extensive experience to develop the company's strategies and further the growth of its key business units, Retail Network Solutions (RNS) and Human Capital Solutions (HCS). RNS partners with automakers to enhance the retail customer lifecycle, while HCS improves talent acquisition and management for large companies around the globe.
"MSXI's vision is to be the partner of choice to all of our customers and stakeholders globally. Don brings invaluable experience in the global automotive marketplace and the all-important customer perspective that will further inform our continuous improvement strategy," said Fred Minturn, president and CEO, MSXI. "Our successful growth is founded on the ability to anticipate our customers' needs, offer solutions to address them and demonstrate a return on investment. By joining the MSXI team, Don enhances our ability to execute this successful strategy."
Johnson joins MSXI's advisory board after having recently retired as U.S. vice president for Chevrolet Sales and Service, where he was responsible for more than 3,000 Chevrolet dealers across the U.S., representing 2 million vehicle sales annually. Previously, Johnson held a variety of executive management roles at General Motors Co., including vice president of U.S. Sales Operations and vice president of Sales, Marketing and Aftersales for GM's International Operations.
Johnson earned his Bachelor of Applied Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of British Columbia and received a master's degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business Administration at the University of Western Ontario after being awarded a GM fellowship.
"There are few challenges more important to success in today's automotive marketplace than executing effectively and consistently, at every retail customer touch point," said Johnson. "I'm excited to be part of the MSXI team, which is clearly focused on providing industry leading solutions that meet this challenge."
