WILTON, Conn. and LAS VEGAS, Sept. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Dog Gone Smart Pet Products, a global household name in nanotechnology-based pet products, will debut its new advanced technology pet beds, apparel, and accessories at Superzoo, the national show for pet retailers, September 13-15 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, at booth #2647.
Dog Gone Smart will showcase its extensive line of new soft and luxurious nanotechnology-based Nanosuede pet beds, collars, leashes and harnesses and jackets that repel liquids, dirt, odor, and stains. These classic rectangle pet beds are available in Graphite/Red piping, Plum/Graphite piping, and Red/Graphite piping in M, L and XL sizes (26x34, 30x40, 36x48). Pet bed covers are machine washable. Collars, leashes and harnesses have a Neoprene core that eliminates hand chafing and burning associated with nylon, and provides a soft feel and maximum comfort for dogs,. Available products include: collars, 4-6 ft. leashes, 80" European leashes, and 40" traffic leashes and harnesses in Purple, Graphite, Black, Red, and Plum in sizes 5/8", 3/4", 1". Nanosuede quilted jackets are available in sizes ranging from 8" to 26" in Red and Black.
The stylish new Aspen Parka sports a wind- and waterproof outer shell and nanotechnology-treated fleece lining on the inside, a faux fur collar, reflective trim, protective chest and abdominal piece, polyfill insulation, adjustable elastic waist, neck with zipper closure, and dual buckle fasteners at the back for easy fit. There are 9 jacket sizes ranging from 8" to 26" in Scarlet (red), Fern (olive), Marine (blue), and Black.
Dog Gone Smart will also showcase its newest innovation: the Dirty Dog Doormat™ with Advanced Microfiber Technology™ that traps water, mud and dirt instantly and soaks up 7 times its weight in mud and water. Manufactured with superabsorbent material, the doormat is made up of millions of microfiber strands that create an extra large sponge effect. It dries 5 times faster than ordinary doormats and can be machine washed and dried. It is extremely versatile and can be used in cars, crates, under litter boxes, food and water bowls. The Doormat is currently available in multiple sizes in Khaki, Black, and Maroon featuring a whimsical paw print design.
Dog Gone Smart™ nanotechnology is PFOA- and PFOS-free of known carcinogens and is "bluesign® approved," the world's strictest EHS (environment, health and safety) stipulations for textiles. The nanotechnology is impregnated into the fabric without altering its texture and feel, and produces a non-visible structured textile surface that coat oil, dirt, and liquids cannot stick to. Residue can be rinsed off with water or machine washed. The fabric stands up to frequent washing and is highly abrasion resistant. These pet products also incorporate non-silver-based bacteriostatic, a proprietary technology that inhibits the spread of bacteria that can cause 'doggy' odor.
There are 46.5 million households that own dogs and 78.2 million dogs in the U.S. alone that will spend approximately $50 billion on pets this year according to the American Pet Products Association 2010-2011 annual survey.
