DALLAS, Oct. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Over 900 dogs from eleven different countries are headed to Scottsdale, AZ Nov. 9 – 13, for the 29th annual Grand Prix of Dog Agility® World Championships and $10,000 Dog Agility Steeplechase®, the two headline attractions at the 2016 Cynosport World Games.
These are the world's fastest and best canine athletes, completing a 170 yard obstacle course in 40 seconds or less while being navigated by their human partner.
Join the fun with your dog and participate in "paws-on" activities like Splash Dogs, lure coursing, herding instinct testing, Rally Obedience, an "Agility 101" course and a pet lovers shopping paradise.
Competitors will be battling for the sport's most coveted prizes, the Grand Prix of Dog Agility® World Champion title and to compete for more than $10,000 in prize money in the Dog Agility Steeplechase®.
The excitement takes place at WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16601 N. Pima Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85260, Nov. 9 – 13, 2016.
Daily activities run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with evening events scheduled Friday and Saturday beginning at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $10 per carload.
For everyone's safety, well-behaved dogs on leashes no longer than 6 feet are welcome to attend. Retractable leashes, choke and prong collars are not allowed.
