SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its drive to continue evolving its global technology operations and worldwide marketing strategy, DocuSign – the global leader in e-signature and digital transaction management – today announced the appointment of Kirsten Wolberg as chief technology and operations officer, and Steve Krause as SVP strategy and product marketing.
The appointments come as DocuSign continues to grow its core e-signature business, expand its geographical presence in its 13 international markets, and increase its user base of more than 300,000 customers and 200m users. Wolberg will report directly to Dan Springer, DocuSign's CEO, and Krause will report to Scott Olrich, the company's chief strategy and marketing officer.
"Kirsten and Steve are world-class customer-focused executives – we're excited to have them join the team to help advance digital transformation and innovation both internally here at DocuSign, and then in support of our customers around the world," said Springer.
Wolberg has a long history of tech leadership with more than 30 years of experience helping organizations successfully implement digital transformation at scale. Previously, she served as CIO at Salesforce and vice president of technology at both PayPal and Charles Schwab. Wolberg received her masters of business administration from Kellogg School of Management and her bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Southern California.
"I'm thrilled to be joining the team at DocuSign. Everyone here shares a passion and commitment to help clients succeed," noted Wolberg. "I've spent my entire career helping companies transform digitally at scale. I'm really excited to bring this capability to DocuSign and our customers. I can't imagine a better next chapter in my career than enabling digital transformation as part of the team at DocuSign."
Krause was formerly the head of product management for the Oracle Marketing Cloud, and before that, SVP product management for Springer's previous company, Responsys – which was sold to Oracle in 2014 for $1.5 billion. Earlier in his career, he founded ExactChoice, which was acquired by CNET Networks (now CBS Interactive), and Personify, a pioneering interactive-marketing platform. Krause received his BA Honors in Politics from UC Santa Cruz.
"DocuSign lets companies do business faster, easier, and greener," said Krause. "I am honored to join a cause that is delivering such value at huge scale, and I look forward to helping take it to the next level."
