Forward-thinking utility to take active role in power transformer conference

WATERTOWN, Mass., Feb. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Doble Engineering Company welcomes San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) as the host utility for the 2013 Life of a Transformer Seminar to be held February 18-21 in San Diego, California USA. The objective of the seminar is to empower the current and next generation of electric power engineers with in-depth, world-class training focused entirely on transformer design, operation and life-cycle management.

SDG&E will also be offering seminar students tours of their Mission Control Center, the hub of their grid and distribution operations as well as their transformer and substation condition-based monitoring control center.
