Deadline to submit nominations for deserving young purchasing and supply chain management professionals is December 3, 2017
NEW YORK and TEMPE, Ariz., Nov. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Do you know a young purchasing or supply chain management professional who deserves to be applauded for their passion, creativity and contributions to supply management? Thomas™ and the Institute for Supply Management® (ISM®) are seeking nominations from around the globe for the fourth annual "30 Under 30 Rising Supply Chain Stars Recognition Program", and want to hear from you.
Launched in 2014, the "30 Under 30 Rising Supply Chain Stars Recognition Program" has recognized 30 individuals annually who are 30 years of age or younger, who have demonstrated leadership, innovation, collaboration, and other outstanding attributes, and who have made contributions to their companies, associations and the industry at large. Now global in scope and open to international nominees, the "30 Under 30 Rising Supply Chain Stars Recognition Program" positions supply management and procurement as viable and exciting career choices for early career professionals.
Prior winners are already proving instrumental in shaping strategy, streamlining processes and improving bottom-line performance for their companies, and, as they progress in their careers, are serving as role models for other up and coming professionals:
"I love to see the financial impact of the projects I'm working on. It's very rewarding to see your savings figures roll through to the bottom line and help the company achieve the annual financial targets." - Brian Meyer, Owens Corning; 2016 30 Under 30 Rising Supply Chain Star
"I believe Supply Management is a fantastic career for young people to embark on due to the real life challenges and the opportunities for growth. Through this career path you learn invaluable skills such as communication, analytics, and pragmatic problem solving. Also, if you want it to, this profession can lead you to travel the world, and even live abroad." - Amanda DeCook, A.T. Kearney; 2016 30 Under 30 Rising Supply Chain Star
