MIAMI GARDENS, Fla., Nov. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The City of Miami Gardens' 9th annual Jazz in the Gardens music festival at Sun Life Stadium is proud to announce this year's edition will be hosted by D.L. Hughley and Rachelle Ferrell will return after missing last year's show, nine more headliners will be added. The three-day festival will kick off on Friday, March 14 with the Women's Impact Conference & Luncheon and a pre-party at Calder Casino.

Hughley recently launched his own national daily radio show on from 3 – 7:00 p.m., The D. L. Hughley Show will air on the Reach Media Network. Hosted by D.L. with co-hosts Jasmine Sanders and Steve Wilson, the show will broadcast in 39 markets including Chicago, Cleveland, Nashville, Memphis, Detroit and New Orleans.
In 2013, more than 63,000 fans attended the 8th Annual Jazz in the Gardens festival over the weekend to enjoy performances by Ne-Yo, Earth Wind & Fire, Charlie Wilson, New Edition, Monica, Fantasia, Kenny 'Babyface' Edmonds, Najee, Nicole Henry and Mary Mary.
