Divine Mercy School to Celebrate School Choice
PAYNE, Ohio, Jan. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Students at Divine Mercy School will share essays about what their school means to them at a celebration of National School Choice Week. More than a hundred students, parents, and community leaders will attend the rally, which will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23.
This event is planned to coincide with the history-making celebration of National School Choice Week 2019, which will feature more than 40,000 school choice events across all 50 states.
"We are celebrating school choice by giving students the opportunity to feel proud of their school and express their thoughts on it," said Joe Linder, principal at Divine Mercy School.
Divine Mercy School serves students in grades pre-K to 6 and seeks to develop academic, human, and spiritual excellence in the service of God for the transformation of the world.
As a nonpartisan, nonpolitical public awareness effort, National School Choice Week shines a positive spotlight on effective education options for students, families, and communities around the country.
