Specially designed to be a celebration of Hispanic culture, SALUD CON SAZON is a series of spots featuring Valladolid, who presents practical tips for making nutritious eating choices. Marcela first collaborated with the network on RELATOS CON SABOR, a series in which families shared their traditional recipes. In the new capsules, the popular chef gives hands-on advice for preparing traditional food, but using easy recipes and tips to adopt healthier lifestyles. For example, SALUD CON SAZON offers tips for packing wholesome school lunches, stresses the importance of cooking with more natural ingredients, and demonstrates how to use alternative ingredients to cook traditional meals. The SALUD CON SAZON capsules will air during the network's nighttime programming and will also be available at facebook.com/discoveryfamilia, along with downloadable recipes, information and other useful tips.
"I am proud and happy to return to the Discovery Familia screen and to be part of this celebration with an initiative created especially for Hispanic audiences," Valladolid commented. "I strongly believe that it's possible to conserve our heritage while making more healthful choices. I share Discovery Familia's mission to improve our community's quality of life and make a commitment to a healthier future."
